WireGuard Core Architecture
Whale Accelerator has developed a new routing engine based on the WireGuard protocol. WireGuard achieves comprehensive accelerator functionality with approximately 4000 lines of code, compared to over 600,000 lines for traditional IPsec. A more streamlined code means a reduced attack surface, lower latency, and higher throughput. In our internal testing, WireGuard's handshake speed is three times faster than IKEv2 and eight times faster than IPsec.
Noise Protocol Framework Encryption
Whale Accelerator's implementation of WireGuard utilizes the Noise protocol framework for key exchange, employing Curve25519 for ECDH key negotiation, ChaCha20-Poly1305 for symmetric encryption, and BLAKE2s for hashing. This combination of cryptographic primitives has been widely validated in both academia and industry, providing forward-thinking security against quantum computing attacks.
Intelligent Protocol Switching
In certain network environments, WireGuard's UDP traffic may be restricted. Whale Accelerator features an intelligent protocol switching capability that automatically detects network conditions and seamlessly switches between WireGuard, IKEv2, and our custom obfuscation protocol to ensure stable connections in any environment. AES-256-GCM Encryption Standard
